Langkawi is home to many interesting fauna including some very bizarre ones.
Along coastal areas visitors can sometimes find the Small Clawed Otter and Smooth Otter. In the coastal waters around the many islands, indo Pacific Humpback Dolphin and Finless Porpoise are sometimes seen. There have also been reported sightings of Whale Shark (the worls’s largest fish) and Bryde’s Whale.
