The idea of Visit Kedah 2008 first came about when we saw the opportunity to celebrate it together with Kedah royal Jubilee Celebration marking our Sultan’s 50th as the Sultan of Kedah which only comes once in a lifetime.
Kedah has a wide range of exciting tourist destinations, beautiful beaches with 99 magical islands, geopark and others for visitors to explore and enjoy. We have selected special events such as Royal Langkawi International Regatta, Le Tour De Langkawi, Langkawi Water Fest 2008 and others that can lift Visit Kedah 2008 out of the ordinary.
I sincerely hope that our tourist arrivals will continue to rise, as it will improve the state’s economy and everyone will benefit in the long run.
I do hope that our tourist have a pleasant stay in Kedah and plan their next holiday to Kedah with more family members and friends.
