The logo design is similar to a majestic diamond encrusted ring. The diamond which is represent by the Royal Tengkolok (Malay Crown) symbolize the His Royal Highness Sultan reign.

The ring shape that hold the diamond symbolized His Royal Highness Sultan Kedah subjects undying loyalty. The strength of the ring symbolizes Kedah Darul Aman citizens SOLIDARITY and HARMONY living in a PEACEFUL and PROSPEROUS state.

The arabic calligraphy "Pemerintahan Tuanku Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Sultan Kedah Darul Aman" or "The reign of His Royal Highness Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman" symbolize that His Royal Highness role as the Head of Islam in the state of Kedah Darul Aman. It also symbolized that majority of the Kedah citizen are muslim and practice the Malay-Islam culture.

The number 50 represent the number of years of His Royal Highness reign. The arabic calligraphy "Jubli Emas" or "Golden Jubilee" symbolize the Golden Jubilee celebration.

The golden yellow color and the Kedah Darul Aman Royal Coat of Arms symbolize the sovereignty of His Royal Highness Sultan Kedah.
